just kinda sucks lol? it's like hina's ability except you can't control where it spawns and it has set damage. you also don't get the dash effect hina has. you get more of them, sure, but that's sort of negated by the inability to control where it spawns. overall just very bad, worst character in this game by far. 1.5/10
very good ability in theory, but the comically low set damage the spirits do kinda ruins this. still significantly better than hastur but the late game falloff can't be ignored as it hurts the class a Lot. 3.7/10
pretty similar to hastur, has similar problems where it's just a Summon That Heavily Falls off HOWEVER katana has the benefits of
the effect is decent, but the lightning damage is just.. so low. and the chracter upgrades don't really help. it can be good but you reaaaally need to spec into lightning and go for lightning mastery asap if you want the passive lightning to do literally anything. 4.6/10
effect is very cool and her character upgrades are pretty good. the problem with this one is it's just, pretty situational. it's definitely good but it only really shines on certain guns, like shotgun and crossbow. otherwise the black holes are kinda just too infrequent to do anything on their own and don't synergize that well with the gun itself. 5/10
i mean the effect itself is okay and the character upgrades are great (except pyro affinity that one sucks). but like.. fire alone is such a mid gimmick to build your character around? lategame requires you to kill a ton of stuff fast, and DoT won't cut it there honestly. the burn damage is also pretty low but eh it has a lot more synergy to improve burns then something like spark. 5.1/10
hina marks a pretty huge jump in how good the characters are; before this most of the characters are like bad or low mid, this one is like high mid, and then the rest of the characters from here are cracked asf. anyway regarding the character itself, it's pretty good. the dash is pretty useful for getting out of bad situations late game since it both functions as mobility and damages some of the enemies swarming you. the clone itself maintains pretty good damage throughout the whole game due to hina having REally Good Character Upgrades.... enhances shadow essentially triples its damage and hidden blade gives you iframes when dashing 👁️👁️👁️ pretty good character, only real issue is that without good character upgrades early the shadow can start kinda falling off since it normally only attacks three times. anyway 6/10
deer form pretty much carries literally everything except the last like 5 minutes of the game. the damage is just ridiculous. it would be #1 easilyt if not for the nerf it got a while back (instead of dealing 100 or so damage to transform, its now 10 seconds, so it's better earlygame worse lategame). the only reason it's not higher is because you do need to spec pretty hard into summons for the deer form to be useful lategame, but that's not really a huge problem. just means you can't play as generally. like 8/10
this ability isn't extremely useful in anything specific, but it shines in that it works great with just about any build, plus it has pretty crazy character upgrades (mainly bullet storm) very good offensive option overall. the only things it fails at are low ammo weapons like crossbow, but ehh it's not that hard to just Avoid using those. also this excels at crowd control in a game where crowd control is extremely extremely important so 8.4/10
the crow moves comically fast for some reason and curse is a very powerful ability with a great skill tree (this character with Ritual goes insane. 1 ravenillion bullet damage). character upgrades are pretty good too, shadowflame isnt that great unless your bullet damage is insane but the other two are pretty game changing honestly. if you're using something with extremely high bullet damage like grenade launcher this will clear most of the game with ease. you could also use a summon build with the crow which i haven't really tried but it's probably pretty powerful as well. 8.9/10
pretty much the ultimate generalist. all the character upgrades are insanely good, especially specialize, and being able to reroll upgrades is very useful for creating a powerful build, especially on higher difficulties where you get less upgrades and less upgrade options. works well with just about any build. 9.5/10
while the passive itself is pretty good, upgrades and character upgrades are what make this basically The Meta Class.
like... every single one of these is just insane. i dont know what they were thinking giving Permanent infinitely stackable upgrades like this, they singlehandedly made the Noob Tank class the meta. 9.8/10
i mean yeah this is just the free win character with a high fire rate weapon. you can literally just freeze the entire crowd of enemies around you. with the correct build there is literally no way to die with this. boring but 10/10
